Designed for JCPenney’s Arizona line, this wedge was created to evolve the assortment and introduce a fresher, more modern direction while still honoring what the Arizona customer loves. Comfort and wedges are core to the brand, but the long‑running bestseller had begun to feel dated with its lower sculpted wedge & blunt toe shape. I partnered closely with factory teams in China to develop a new wedge silhouette that felt updated yet still familiar enough for her to trust. The toe was refined to be slightly narrower while maintaining comfort. The wedge height was increased while keeping a low pitch to ensure all‑day wearability.
